Thorsten Münker is Global Sales Manager at IRLE Rolls GmbH, a family-owned German company operating its own foundry since 1643 and with over two centuries of experience in manufacturing rolls for the pulp and paper industry.
Thorsten is a mechanical engineer specialized in roll technology and materials based on iron-carbon composition diagrams. His career spans more than 25 years, including technical development of solutions for paper mills, as well as building and consolidating international sales and representation networks.

Since 2014, he has been part of IRLE Rolls, where he leads global sales and marketing strategies and acts as a technical consultant on-site for paper manufacturers worldwide.

Thorsten will present IRLE Rolls’ latest roll manufacturing technology, focusing on the TriPass 3000 system, designed for extremely high-temperature operations in the production of specialty papers.
This innovation enhances performance under demanding thermal conditions and delivers high added value for mills seeking efficiency and durability in critical processes, in line with the current technical and operational challenges of the paper industry.
