Geovane Cruz is a Mechanical Engineer graduated from the University of Tuiuti do Paraná. Since 2011 he is with Firefly AB, where he is actively involved in the study and applications of fire prevention. He currently serves as Sales Manager for Latin America.

This session will show how plants throughout the region are using the Firefly system's high technology at key points in the production process, including tissue machines, converting lines, dust extraction and storage areas. The idea is to detect sparks, hot particles or small flames and extinguish them before they become a fire.
